Terms of Service

CINPIX User Agreement

Last Updated: June 11, 2026 | Effective Date: June 11, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using CINPIX. These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of CINPIX, including cinpix.com, related websites, applications, scheduled digital screenings, film festival programs, community features, messaging, ticketing, and other services we provide.

By creating an account, purchasing or redeeming a ticket, joining a screening, submitting content, or otherwise using CINPIX, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the services.

2. Our Service

CINPIX is a global digital cinema platform built around curated, time-based screenings and festival programming. Unlike ordinary on-demand streaming, many CINPIX programs are available only during designated windows, at specific screening times, or under festival-specific access rules.

Availability of films, subtitles, chatrooms, roundtables, tickets, passes, and community features may vary by territory, time zone, device, rights holder requirements, festival rules, and applicable law.

3. Account Registration and Security

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating or updating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

You may not share, sell, transfer, or misuse your account, tickets, passes, invitations, verification codes, or access credentials. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Eligibility and Minors

You may use CINPIX only if you can lawfully enter into these Terms and comply with applicable laws. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use CINPIX only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Some films or events may contain mature themes or be subject to age ratings, content advisories, or legal viewing restrictions. You are responsible for complying with those restrictions.

5. Tickets, Passes, Invitations, Payments, and Refunds

Tickets, festival passes, gift tickets, invitation tickets, and other access rights are limited licenses to attend specific digital screenings or programs. They do not transfer ownership of any film or other content.

Prices, availability, screening schedules, access windows, eligibility rules, and payment methods may change. Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by applicable law, completed purchases may be non-refundable after access rights are issued or a screening window begins.

We may cancel, reschedule, restrict, or modify access to a screening where required by rights holders, festival partners, technical constraints, suspected fraud, security concerns, or law. Where required, we will provide remedies consistent with applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Content License and Viewing Restrictions

Films, trailers, images, subtitles, program notes, live sessions, and related materials on CINPIX are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view authorized content through CINPIX for private, non-commercial use only.

You must not record, copy, download, redistribute, publicly perform, screen, sell, sublicense, circumvent digital rights management, bypass territorial controls, scrape, or otherwise exploit any content except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

7. Community Features and User Conduct

CINPIX may offer comments, chatrooms, roundtables, direct messaging, profiles, reactions, reports, and other community features. You are responsible for the content you submit and for how you interact with others.

You must not post or transmit unlawful, infringing, abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, misleading, spam, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, malware-related, or otherwise harmful content. You must not impersonate others, manipulate screenings, disrupt events, or interfere with platform security.

We may moderate, remove, restrict, suspend, or report content or accounts where we reasonably believe this is necessary to protect users, creators, festival partners, rights holders, the platform, or legal compliance.

8. User Content

You may upload or submit profile information, avatars, comments, messages, reviews, reports, creator submissions, or other materials. You retain ownership of your user content, subject to the rights you grant us below.

You grant CINPIX a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, transmit, moderate, translate, format, and otherwise use your user content as reasonably necessary to operate, protect, promote, and improve the services, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

CINPIX, our logos, product names, interface designs, software, platform content, and related materials are owned by CINPIX or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

If you believe content on CINPIX infringes your rights, contact us with sufficient detail for us to investigate and respond.

10. Third-Party Services and Partners

CINPIX may integrate with third-party services such as payment providers, authentication providers, cloud infrastructure, content delivery networks, analytics, communications tools, subtitle or translation services, and festival partner systems.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but we work with service providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal data are described in our Privacy Policy. By using CINPIX, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed as described there.

Certain features, including account security, ticketing, payments, screening access, geographic availability, community safety, and customer support, require us to process information necessary to provide and protect the services.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to CINPIX if you breach these Terms, violate law, infringe rights, create security or fraud risks, misuse tickets or screenings, or harm other users, creators, festival partners, or the platform.

You may stop using CINPIX at any time and may request account deletion through available account settings or by contacting us, subject to legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, and rights protection obligations.

13. Disclaimers

CINPIX is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free playback, availability of every film in every territory, compatibility with every device, or that community content will be accurate or appropriate.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the services, including screenings, features, schedules, and content availability, consistent with these Terms and applicable law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CINPIX and our affiliates, directors, employees, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or consumer rights that cannot be waived.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the services, by email, or by other reasonable means. The updated Terms become effective on the stated effective date.

Your continued use of CINPIX after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the services.

16. Contact
