Biography

Malcolm is a British Cinematographer with over twenty years experience shooting features, commercials and documentaries. He has worked on seven features to date, including two Oscar & Bafta nominated films for Tim Burton. His work on the 2014 documentary feature, 'Still the Enemy Within' helped to garner the respected audience award at The Sheffield Doc Festival. In 2017 he completed an 8-month shoot on Wes Anderson's celebrated stop motion feature 'Isle of Dogs'. Malcolm's experience in lighting is extensive, considered and discriminating, his attitude on set, collaborative and supporting. He continues to work with some of the Europe's most recognised production companies as a specialised DOP in documentary, stop-motion, table top, food and motion control shoots. He is a full member of the UK's Guild of British Camera Technicians (GBCT).
