Tommy Abuel (born September 16, 1942) is an acclaimed Filipino actor across film, television, and theater. Originally trained as a lawyer, he established himself as a dominant dramatic figure during the Second Golden Age of Philippine Cinema. Abuel earned multiple accolades throughout his multi-decade career, including FAMAS Best Supporting Actor awards for his acclaimed performances in Manila in the Claws of Light (1975) and Karma (1981). His extensive film credits include classic feature films such as Diligin Mo ng Hamog ang Uhaw na Lupa (1975), Insiang (1976), Bakit Manipis ang Ulap? (1985), and Dahas (1995). On television, he has appeared in prominent roles across long-running series including MariMar (2007), Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real (2014), FPJ's Ang Probinsyano (2018), and Lolong (2022).
